For our client dredging company Boskalis B.V. We have prepared and supervised the repair of the Cutter Suction Dredger "Taurus II" in Ajman (United Arab Emirates). We also have prepared the dredger for a new dredging project in Qatar, for this we have the cutter logistics adapted in accordance with the wishes of the client. After the repair the financial handling with yard and subcontractors completed, a final report with recommendations for the upcoming repair period.
Below is a brief overview of the repair work:
- 18,000 hours overhaul sand pump- and main engine type TM 410
- install a platform in the pump room

- Refresh piping in the engine room and placing a back flushing system in the cooling water system.
